My Sunshine.

Words cannot even begin to describe how much I love this boy.
This boy that is all too quickly growing into a young man.
This boy that completely changed my world at the age of 19.
This boy who is so much like me in many ways, yet totally in a guy sort of way.
This soft-hearted child who always takes up for the underdog.
The best friend that anyone could ever ask for.
I hope you know how wonderful you are.
I hope you know how smart you are and how capable you are of doing great things.
I pray for you.
Some of it is a tad bit selfish.
I pray that these next few years go by really slowly.
I cannot wait to see what God has planned for your life.
You are my sunshine, forever.

Hey you!
Having had a child around that age and knowing how much it changed my life I can completely relate to the love and joy he brings to you. Always hug and love your precious baby boy even when it's embarassing and he pushes away.

Alison, what a sweet post...I think there is a special bond between a mother and a child but for some reason I think there is another bond between a mother and a son...you have that bond, hold on to it!

I have a little guy that seems to be a lot like yours, and you've captured my sentiments for him exactly. So sweet.

About Me

My photo
I am a wife, and mother to three beautiful babies (well..one is not so much a baby anymore)! In 2009 I departed my career of 14 years to stay at home with my babies. That first year I thought that I might just go crazy....I survived! The road has been bumpy but gets better everyday. I might even be getting a little more domesticated along the way! I'm learning to love this path that my life has taken. Can't wait to see what's next!
