I wonder if she knows that smile will be my undoing? That one day that smile will get her that extra cookie or just one more ride on the merry-go-round. That one day that smile will save her from a certain reprimand. That one day that smile will gain her a spritz of mommy's expensive perfume or a day's worth of daddy's hard-earned paycheck.
